Stick to the simpler, NON-electronic toys. You will spend less money adn find that many times teh lessons these toys teach have been skipped, leading to some of the teenagers we have today, that while very smart are not very INTELLIGENT. You don’t have to spend too much money on that, there are many puzzles, building letters , small writing pads, whiteboards, and plasctic learning games that are accesible and light too………even books, these will all help the child develop thinking skills, reading skills, writing skills and of course speaking skills…………reading him stories is the best, don’t underestimate kids, their brains are like sponge, even when you think she or he is asleep while rading, he will still absorb all what you are relating…have fun with your kids………
