learning games for kids
nepherym asked:

My boys are 6 1/2 and the other will be 4 two days after christmas. A couple of years ago I bought them the handheld V-Smile, which didn’t fare too well (screen would freeze, cartridge problems, would randomly shut off even with new batteries or connected to the AC adaptor). We still have all of the assesories, but I was wondering if there’s a more reliable, better hand held learning/game system out there. Is there anything built like the Fisher Price digital camera, where it can withstand kid use?
Please bother to read the question. I said I had ***PROBLEMS*** with the vsmile pocket. -.-

I know you’d have to get new games and what not; but I’ve heard nothing but good things from the Leapster handheld gaming system. I’m actually looking into for my son. I have the V. Smile for at home and was looking into the handheld because we already have SO MANY games… I thought perfect, we can use it at home and on the go with all of the games. So check into it, thats the only other one I’ve known that works like a charm. And don’t get the pixter… I’ve heard it’s worse than the V.Smile pocket. Good Luck!
